Arizona Weather Alert: 35+ MPH Thunderstorm Winds Could Hit Phoenix by Monday Morning

Phoenix, Casa Grande and communities along Interstates 10 and 17 should monitor conditions before Monday morning travel. Drivers encountering blowing dust should avoid entering areas where visibility rapidly deteriorates. Never drive through flooded roadways.

Sunday afternoon activity will remain more focused on terrain-favored areas, including portions of central and eastern Arizona. The storm opportunity expands toward the lower deserts overnight and before sunrise Monday.
