Hoffman Estates, IL – CPR training available September 23

Hoffman Estates, Illinois – The Hoffman Estates Fire Department is inviting community members to participate in an upcoming Heartsaver CPR/AED course. The training is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Fire Station #24, located at 5775 Beacon Pointe Dr.

The course is designed specifically for individuals with little to no prior medical training. During the session, participants will learn critical life-saving skills, including how to appropriately contact 9-1-1, how to perform CPR, how to operate an automated external defibrillator (AED), and how to assist someone who is choking.

Registration for the class is required, and spaces are limited. Those interested in attending should contact the Hoffman Estates Fire Department Administration Office at 847-843-4825 to secure their spot. The cost for the training is $50 per person, and all registrations must be completed by the deadline on September 16, 2026.
