A LaPorte man was arrested after allegedly arranging to meet a 13-year-old juvenile. According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect was taken into custody following an undercover operation.

Authorities stated that the individual had communicated with the juvenile via social media platforms, ultimately attempting to schedule a face-to-face meeting. Upon arrival at the designated location, the suspect was apprehended by law enforcement officers.
