Royal Lakes, IL – Sheriff Seeks Leads on 2018 Missing Person

Royal Lakes, IL – The Cook County Sheriff's Office has renewed its plea for public assistance in an ongoing missing persons case dating back several years. Authorities are specifically seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Denita Hedden, who vanished in early 2018.

According to the Cook County Sheriff's Office, Hedden, then 37, was last seen on Thursday, January 25, 2018, in the 700 block of Catalpa Avenue in Royal Lakes. The disappearance was reported at approximately 11:00 p.m. Hedden, now 45, is described as a White female, 5 feet tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators noted she has a unique tattoo on her stomach featuring a woman's upper body with spikey hair and crossed arms.

The department maintains a dedicated team of investigators focused on cold missing persons cases. They are urging anyone who may have relevant information regarding Hedden or the circumstances of her disappearance to come forward.
