Aitjunz 8-Drawer Dressers Recalled Over Tip-Over Risk

WASHINGTON - Consumers who own Aitjunz 8-drawer dressers should stop using them after a recall announced Sept. 24, 2026, because the furniture can tip over and trap children, creating a risk of serious injury or death.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the dressers are unstable when they are not anchored to a wall. The products also violate mandatory safety requirements for clothing storage units under the Stop Tip-overs of Unstable, Risky Dressers on Youth Act, known as the STURDY Act.

The recall applies to Aitjunz 8-drawer dressers sold by Yuyitop. The notice did not provide sales locations, the number of units involved, model numbers, lot codes or UPC information.

Tip-over incidents involving clothing storage furniture can occur when children climb on, lean against or pull out drawers. An unsecured dresser may fall forward, potentially trapping a child underneath or between the furniture and another object.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dressers and contact the manufacturer for information about obtaining a refund or replacement. Until the product is removed or otherwise addressed, consumers should keep children away from it and avoid opening or loading the drawers.
