Break Point Step Team, founded in spring 2025, is the University’s first step-dance group. The team combines rhythmic movement, chanting and clapping while creating space for Black community and cultural history on a predominantly white campus. Its Spring Jam debut drew strong support, and members now hope to grow, compete and collaborate with other campus dancers.
