A fugitive wanted on multiple felony charges was arrested after a traffic stop in Duluth, according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were conducting routine patrol in the city of Duluth when they initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. During the stop, deputies identified one of the occupants as a suspect who was wanted on multiple active felony warrants.

The individual was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Gwinnett County Jail. Officials have not released the name of the suspect, but confirmed that the individual was wanted for several serious offenses, including outstanding charges related to property crimes.
