Hotchner Festival highlights WashU playwrights

Washington University’s 2026 A.E. Hotchner Playwriting Festival will present staged readings of three new plays exploring racism, grief, identity and college life. Developed through a professional-style workshop and selected by blind submission, the free Sept. 19–20 performances offer audiences an early look at emerging playwrights and stories before they reach the stage.
