Macon Police Arrest Suspect in Connection with Armed Robbery

Macon, GA – The Bibb County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division has announced the arrest of a local man in connection with a commercial armed robbery. The incident, which took place at the Baba-G Smoke establishment located at 116 Riverside Parkway, occurred on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

According to official reports, investigators received a tip through Crimestoppers that led to the apprehension of the suspect on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. At approximately 10:00 a.m., law enforcement personnel located the individual in the 3500 block of Riverside Drive. The suspect was identified as 42-year-old Nathan Taylor of Macon. Following his arrest, Taylor was transported to the Criminal Investigation Division and subsequently to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Taylor is currently facing multiple serious charges, including armed robbery, aggravated assault, and kidnapping. Authorities confirmed that he is being held without bond while the investigation remains active. Officials noted that additional charges may be pending as the inquiry continues.
