The Keep, a new DIY house-show venue replacing Grandma’s House, is continuing Champaign-Urbana’s live-music tradition with fantasy-themed events and a focus on community service. Its debut raised more than $800 for Engineers Without Borders. With three charity-minded shows planned this semester, the venue aims to support emerging local musicians while preserving a safe, inclusive space.
