Fairview Township Police Seek Theft Suspect

Fairview Township, PA – Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop E at Girard Station are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft that occurred on Monday, August 31, 2026.

According to the police report, the incident took place at approximately 2:56 a.m. at the Country Fair store located at 7495 W. Ridge Road in Fairview Township, Erie County. The suspect, described as a white male between the ages of 40 and 50, allegedly entered the store and proceeded to the "Grab n Go" section. He reportedly placed sub sandwiches, meat cups, deli items, and beef sticks into his hoodie and bag during multiple trips around the store, occasionally pausing to purchase small items at the register.

The suspect is described as having a black and gray short beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt featuring a "Penn State" logo, a black and white hat, white sneakers, and gray sweatpants. Witnesses reported seeing him leave the scene in the passenger seat of what appeared to be a white Honda Accord, likely a model year between 2019 and 2023.
