Baltimore County Detectives Investigating Monday Night Shooting

Baltimore, MD – Detectives from the Baltimore County Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are currently investigating a shooting that took place on Monday, September 14, 2026. Police officers responded to the 1100 block of Stamford, zip code 21229, shortly after 9:00 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, responding officers discovered evidence of a shooting at the scene, though no victim was immediately located. Shortly after the initial investigation began, detectives learned that a 37-year-old male had arrived at an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

The investigation into the circumstances of the shooting remains ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the case to contact the department at 410-887-4636.
