Two Drivers Hospitalized Following Highway 32 Crash

Lisbon, ND – A two-vehicle crash on Highway 32 in Ransom County resulted in serious injuries early Tuesday morning, September 15, 2026. The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred at approximately 6:49 a.m. at mile marker 41, four miles north of Lisbon.

According to the official narrative, a 2011 Mazda CX7, driven by a 39-year-old female from Fargo, was traveling northbound on the highway when it veered into the southbound lane. The vehicle struck a southbound 2022 Toyota Highlander driven by a 58-year-old female from Enderlin. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.

The driver of the Toyota sustained serious injuries, while the driver of the Mazda suffered minor injuries. Emergency responders, including the Ransom County Sheriff’s Office, Lisbon Ambulance, and the Lisbon Fire Department, provided assistance at the scene. Both drivers were transported to CHI Lisbon Hospital for treatment.

Road and weather conditions were reported as dry at the time of the angle-style crash. The North Dakota State Patrol is leading the investigation into the incident, and charges against the driver of the Mazda are currently under investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
