Kankakee, IL Craft Fair Returns Nov. 7 With Silent Auction

Kankakee, IL – Holiday shoppers looking to get an early start on Christmas gifts can mark their calendars for the annual K1 MOMCO Craft Fair & Silent Auction, returning to Kankakee on Saturday, Nov. 7.

According to event organizers, the craft fair and silent auction will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kankakee First Church, 1000 N. Entrance Ave.

The event will give shoppers an opportunity to browse craft offerings while also checking out items available through the silent auction. Organizers are promoting the event as a chance to have fun, support a local cause and potentially cross a few gifts off holiday shopping lists.

The Saturday event arrives as the Kankakee County area heads into the busy holiday shopping season, when craft fairs and locally focused events can offer alternatives to traditional retail shopping.

Organizers are particularly highlighting the silent auction, saying several items could make Christmas gifts. Specific auction items and participating craft vendors were not detailed in the announcement.

The event is scheduled to last six hours, giving visitors a broad window to stop by Kankakee First Church between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

For residents across Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais and surrounding Kankakee County communities, the fair offers a local Saturday outing ahead of Thanksgiving and the traditional Christmas shopping rush.

Those interested in attending should mark Saturday, Nov. 7, on their calendars and watch for additional information from organizers as the event approaches.
